Educational Programs

At the Gengras Center, we offer the best academic, daily living and vocational training for students with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and autism.

In addition, music and art provide cultural experiences and our physical education classes include adventure education activities, use of our fully accessible playground as well as sports facilities.

Throughout the program and specifically during social skills training, we develop each student’s self-esteem, self-advocacy skills, build personal and social independence, and reach for higher levels of communication.

A unique curriculum, individualized assessment, and specially-designed projects and programs that truly inspire and motivate help us bring all components of our comprehensive program together for successful outcomes.

"Nothing in life is constant, and change is inevitable. At the Gengras Center, commitment is constant, and all the changes we see everyday are encouraging."

– Dr. Bernard Lindauer, Former Director
