C-210: Ms. Zaffetti

The students in C-210 are actively engaged in their learning. We focus on teaching functional academics, social skills, and activities of daily living. We strive to promote independence as well as bring out the best qualities of each student. Learning takes place in both small group activities as well as individualized lessons. In language arts, students are learning vocabulary which correspond to the weekly theme. We are working on basic math skills such as matching, sequencing and counting. Additionally, students participate in cooking activities twice a week where they help to prepare a healthy snack. If they are not at their desks, our students are participating in a variety of chores, completing hygiene routines or exploring the many benefits of USJ’s campus.
